Before we can properly plan for a child’s future, we must have medical assessments and blood work done. Professional reports, trauma counselling, therapeutic and remedial interventions are also often necessary so we can understand exactly what that child will need. And then there are the ongoing operational and other cost-to-company expenses…
Children themselves cannot pay. We do not charge families and children in crisis. Adults with financial means are invoiced for professional services we render. We do receive a partial subsidy towards certain social work posts from the Western Cape Government, but the investment of people like you enable Wandisa to keep functioning effectively.
